alni Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 I'm testing out the 3ds Max 9. I've got the exporter plugin from Third Wire, but I can't find .lod as an exporter option. If it isn't at file -> Export... where can it be. I've checked at the plugin manager if it's loaded and it is. Can someone help me finding it? Quote

Click on UTILITIES (on same panel as Create, Modify etc, TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER) then click Configure Button Sets in the pop up box, scroll the left hand area down to the bottom till you see the thirdwire exporter on the right, you should see TOTAL BUTTONS, add one for this new button when you have a blank button added, (scroll down the right hand side of that popup). Drag the thirdwire exporter onto the blank button , click OK, Viola, you have have access to the exporter Quote
Guest capun Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 You need to add it to the right hand desktop pane tools. You see the Hammer Icon? When you press that, a bunch of utility buttons will show up, for example MaxScript To the top of the Utilities button there are 3 more buttons: More.. Sets and a square Icon(Configure Button) Press the square icon Now you will get the configuration drop down You need to bump the Total Buttons to make room for the Exporter On the left pane there is a bunch of utilities available Somewhere at the bottom you will see something like Third Wire Object Exporter Drag that into the open Utility Button you just created Press Ok to close the drop down Now you should have another Utility called Third Wire Object Exporter Press that and you will get the 4 button options. That'll do it Quote
