weapon editor works not

hello of people, I hagbe still times one ask to weapon the editor: if I do doubleclick exe. the file implement opens for one second a window again closes....the program immediately implemented..... have win does 2000 can me someone help, which had the problem already times? and still one asks: is it enough to instalieren the 3 patches of third the wire homepage or does need one still more? Thank you!

you need to run it in windows98 compatability mode.
