I played its first version, and my only assumption they came out with this updated version is because of the movie that recently came out. The first version totally sucked my hopes away and spit them into the bottomless pit that is known as a crappy mod.

 

The original transformers weren't hero bots but just random look a likes and would only transform into vehicles that were standard in 1942. I haven't tried this new version yet but I surely won't have my hopes up. Problably hopes down if that's possible.

so is it basically just using the engine from 1942 with transformers textured on? Sounds cool, but your review makes me pause
