+pcpilot Posted November 4, 2002 Posted November 4, 2002 I have a Radeon 8500 64 MB card. Is there an ingame keystroke to view framerates? Or must I use a utility of some sort? Thanks.
+pcpilot Posted November 4, 2002 Author Posted November 4, 2002 Thanks SD, it seems to work really well. If it is correct, my framerates are pretty poor, only around 10-15. Isnt there a Radeon tweaking utility somewhere? I seem to recall seeing one in the forums somewhere. Ill hafta look and post it here if I find it.

Go into the Strike FightersFlight directory and open the HUDData.ini. At the top of the file is the following line: DisplayDebug=FALSE Change to DisplayDebug=TRUE and it will give you all kinds of framerate info. Unfortunately you can't change it in-game, but it's ok for testing and better than nothing. :D
+pcpilot Posted November 4, 2002 Author Posted November 4, 2002 Thanks Jeff, I had a feeling there might be an "ingame" method for checking framerates.
SDirickson Posted November 4, 2002 Posted November 4, 2002 I use a Radeon 8500 128mb, and I had terrible frame rates too. I downloaded the latest official drivers from ATI, and I ran the rage3d.com tweaker to turn off HT&L, and now I get 35+ fps at almost full detail.
