+Muesli Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Because there are lots of us who cannot drop one stinkin' pickle in the bullseye I made a short scheme to calculate the distance to target for dropping a bomb. It's in a small text file and you can print it on 1 A4 paper. The calculation is for all sizes and weight and is approximate! Good luck! Muesli Quote
FastCargo Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 This might be good to post in the air combat section...assuming the values would work in any other sim. Couple of questions though: 1. Are the values for airspeed in KIAS or GS? 2. I'm assuming these are level bomb drops? FastCargo Quote

The values stated are for dumb bombs in level bomb drops, the speed is in KIAS. As I said, it is an estimate of figures but might help putting the pickle closer to the target! Ciao! Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Kreelins Mission Editor has that feature built in plus the Weapons Pack manual has bombing charts in the back. Quote
