Question about AI

I tried to practice formation flying with my AI wingman by ordering him to RTB and follow him in my MiG-15UTI.

But I noticed that the AIs can pick up and lose speed suddenly ,for example, a SU-27,from 1000kph to 400 kph in 3 seconds.

And it`s almost impossible to keep formation.

I know that AIs follow a very simple FM,but I just want it to be more resonable in picking up and losing speed.

 

Anyone knows how to tweak the .inis?

I wouldn't know much about your FM problem, however if you download Streakeagle's F-4E Thunderbirds mod, he has included a formation flying mod that may be able to help you out.
