I can't hear certain sounds

Can anybody hear the follwing sounds in gam? (these all have files in the sounds folder)

 

* bomb release

* heavy breathing when pulling G

* tire squeal

 

If so, can you post exact sound settings

It seems this is also one of the bugs that may be being fixed with the patch..I am also not hearing these sounds, though I see them in the sounds folder..may want to post this under the bugs forum for TK to take a look at during the coding process for the patch.

This might be narrowed down to a surround sound issue. Try setting speakers to "Desktop Stereo Speakers" instead of surround sound and see if it helps.

nope..I don't hear the tire squeal when they kiss concrete either, or the breathing at high gs and I don't have it set to surround sound

I misread the initial post...my bad. I don't hear those either.
