knightyogi Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Hey guys, great forum. Lots of good info! I've been playing WOV for about a year now, but have only recently begun adding modded aircraft and skins to WOV and have been playing the heck out of single mission play with all the new kick butt modern aircraft. I would like to know if there is a way to add these aircraft to the three default campaigns? Does anyone have a link to a tutorial? I have downloaded over a dozen modern era aircraft and would like to fly them through Linebacker and Rolling Thunder. I have the SFP extractor; what files need to be modified to allow modded aircraft? Thanks in advance! Quote

knightyogi Posted September 1, 2007 Author Posted September 1, 2007 The search engine is your friend: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...mpaign+aircraft FastCargo I have edited the two files (shown below), but when I play campaign, it is still showing stock f-4 phantoms. I am still missing a step. Any suggestions? +Corktip_14 Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 (edited) Ok, the unit in your USNUnit is not good, it's pointing to air unit 43, and your F-14 unit is 60, I think changing that should solve the problem. Edited September 1, 2007 by Corktip_14 Quote

Even used an existing squadron in linebacker and just updated with mod craft, but still not seeing in campaign; so I tried a scenario: After editing these two directories and saving, I then deleted the extracted files. Then, using the SFP1 extractor, I extracted the _CAT file again, only to see the default F-4 squadron. Apparenlty, the step I'm missing is to re-compile the .ini file, is this correct? and if so, how do I recompile so that the new .ini files are added? +Gocad Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 (edited) There is no big deal in changing the .ini files. You can open them with notepad or some other text editor, make your changes and save them. And that's it. Looking at the post above this one I would have three questions: a) Is this unit really the first USAF unit? b) Is "666FW" present in your Squadron_list? If not, replace 'Squadron=' with 'UnitName=' c) Is "USAFtng1" really the name of the F-15C skin folder? Edited September 2, 2007 by Gocad Quote
+Corktip_14 Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 What can be a problem here is the date of service entry for the F-14, check it ;) Quote
