Gecko6 took a few moments to sit down and take a few questions on the Tainted Cigar campaign that is currently in the works. Here's a sample:

 

MadJeff: Why Cuba?  

 

Gecko6: Originally I wanted to do a Fulda Gap Scenario based on Red Storm Rising from Tom Clancy. After chatting with TK and others from Thirdwire I was brought to the realization that I need to start off with something smaller and learn from my mistakes during Tainted Cigar.  

 

I am very glad I listened. Cuba is a huge undertaking.  

 

The good thing is that I can focus on historically accurate Enemy strength and locations. This takes the guesswork out of placing objects. Plus the idea of a Cuba Missile Crisis going wrong also allows us some variation to reality.
