'F4 view back farther' mod no longer works

I really liked the one mod for LOMAC where the F4 view is pulled back a bit (towards front of plane) so you can see the pilot as well as the tail. However, installing the FPS tweek mod seems to have messed it up, as now half the plane model is missing in that view. I think it's an issue with the view.cfg file being overwritten.

 

Just wondering if anyone is using both those mods, and knows how to fix that...
