It would have been nice if TK had added, say, a percentage chance for each gun type to jam when fired.

 

That way F-8 Crusader gun jams could have been accurately modelled and more reliable guns modelled as well.

I own all of TKs games and this is the ONLY one in which the guns jam SO often.

At least in FE you can access the guns to clear jams.

Extract the AircraftObject.ini file

 

[GunData]

AllowUnjamAttempt=FALSE <- Change this to True

 

Test and report on the results.

 

Not quite realistic since there is not way to access the guns like in the WWI kites but ....
