Missing Decal sets... What am I doing wrong here?

Dear All,

I seem to be having certain problems with certain aircraft shins like this F-14 in the screenshot below: It's supposed to be of the VF-111 'Sundowners' but the decals don't show up on the aircraft. I've installed the shin by dropping the respective skin folder into the 'F-14' directory.. I'm having the same problems with other plain skins that rely on decal sets for the decal/insignia details to show up...

 

Could someone please help & guide me as to what I'm doing wrong?

I got the answer for your problem:

 

 

1.: open \Program Files\Wings Over Europe\Objects\Aircraft\F-14D folder.

2.: open the folder of the skin.

3.: then open decals.ini

4.: you see this:

[Decalxxx]

MeshName=xxx

DecalLevel=xxx

DecalFacing=xxx

FilenameFormat=F-14a/VFxxx/D/x

Position=xxxx

Rotation=xxx

Scale=xxx

DecalMaxLOD=xxx

 

5.: change F-14a to F14d* in every lines

 

 

*: or another variant of the aircraft
