KEG Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Just spreading the word about my recently completed documentary film, "Pappy Boyington Field". It's a chronicle of the grassroots campaign to honor a WWII Hero by adding a commemorative name to the airport in his town of birth...and it wasn't without some controversy. Here is a link to the story about the film in USA Today: http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2008-02...boyington_N.htm I include vintage WWII footage of the F-4U Corsair, the aircraft flown by Pappy, as well as modern-day footage of the AV-8B Harrier flown by the current Blacksheep Squadron. I will be submitting the documentary to film festivals around the country. To learn more about the project you can visit the website: http://www.pappyboyingtonfield.com Quote
