A few days ago I chatted with Nic Cole, the force behind the upcoming leather-bound LOMAC Manual to find out more about the project and the man behind it all.

 

[bHC] - What got you started with this project?

 

[Nic] - I simple moan on the forums at LOMAC. Someone (I forget who) complained about the lack of a printed manual. I thought I could produce one for between 20 and 30 dollars. Carl Norman sent me a Personal Mail on the forum system. He put me in contact with Matt, who championed it in the San Francisco Office.

 

We then put a proposal and dummy forward to Ubisoft USA. They liked it. It then got passed over to Ubisoft UK and then to Ubisoft Paris (the head office). The entire team Matt / Carl / Sarah / Monika / James in San Fransisco and Charlie at Ubisoft UK have been very supportive. The project makes very little money for anyone, but they were willing to invest time and effort in getting it through.
