Oleg and UbiSoft released a beta of FB 1.2. Its pretty rough, and only has a token few of the new aircraft, but it does contain all new maps as well. I recommend trying it out. You can find the link in the general forum at il2sturmovik.com. Its not a small download, so be prepared.

+pcpilot Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 (edited) Yes, one of the Beta testers leaked it and Oleg is...shall we say...apoplectic? His post on the subject reflected that methinks. I got the beta myself on Hyperlobby after asking around and installed it. It runs GREAT! I LOVE the new planes. Put together a quick battle with 3 B17's escorted by 2 'stangs. I attacked with two Georges and two Zeros. Score...two mustangs down, 1 B17 down, (collision with me), 2 B17's badly damaged...one zero and one George down, (mine),m the other two Japs badly damaged. We fought at 5000 meters, contrails were cool as always. So far, I think this 1.2 beta is very nice. Cant wait for the final product to hit the streets. Then its the wait for the pay addon...hehe.
