external veiws

I fly pretty much exclusively from the cockpit, however I would like to be able to go to an external veiw and pan around from time to time. I have remapped my whole keyboard to get it to fit my liking and now I'll be buggered if I can get an external (free panning) veiw, can anyone tell me what I'm missing?

Open the Default.ini in the game's Controls folder and see if you got this:

 

GOTO_VIEW_OBJECT_NEXT=F6

thank you for the response, am I correct to assume F6 was the default external veiw? what is this veiw called in the customise controls menu within the game? If when I get home and check the file your telling me to check and it doesnt have this line then what should I do? do I add the line? or should I restore the defaults and do the remap? sorry for all the questions I just want to be ready with a plan when I sit down to do it.

Yep, that is the default.
