How to use TF & GMT parameters?

Terrain Avoidance was disabled in the Avionics 70. Bt GMT, do you mean the Ground Mode of the radar? It should be listed as just GM and not Ground_mode in the AvailableModes section in the avionics ini for the specific aircraft.

 

The Ground Mode just maps what is in front of you and targets will appear as white blobs, but are not be targeted using the radar.

NO. I just read avionics70.dll (oct patch) in hex editor.

 

I find strings 'search, ACM , STT , TWS, GM', it's OK! i know how to use it.

 

But after that i find strings 'GMT' & 'FT' What's this? It's new radar modes?

TF = Terrain Following = disabled.

 

GMT = Ground Map Terrain = maybe new name for what used to be Terrain Avoidance mode (TA).

 

In real life, Terrain Avoidance and Terrain Following are very different modes.

TF and GMT entries are in the dll but not in the game code = not supported = wont work =

But it`s there so maye actice in future patches, and usable like the air 2 air mode in the radars, would be nice.

theres lots of stuff already "mentioned" in the dll's but not implemented in the games ...
