ST0RM Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Terrain Avoidance was disabled in the Avionics 70. Bt GMT, do you mean the Ground Mode of the radar? It should be listed as just GM and not Ground_mode in the AvailableModes section in the avionics ini for the specific aircraft. The Ground Mode just maps what is in front of you and targets will appear as white blobs, but are not be targeted using the radar. Hope that answers your question. -S Quote
lindr2 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 NO. I just read avionics70.dll (oct patch) in hex editor. I find strings 'search, ACM , STT , TWS, GM', it's OK! i know how to use it. But after that i find strings 'GMT' & 'FT' What's this? It's new radar modes? Quote
FastCargo Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 TF = Terrain Following = disabled. GMT = Ground Map Terrain = maybe new name for what used to be Terrain Avoidance mode (TA). In real life, Terrain Avoidance and Terrain Following are very different modes. FC Quote
ST0RM Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 GMT = Ground Map Terrain = maybe new name for what used to be Terrain Avoidance mode (TA). Hmm, something to try out and see if it works Sorry lindr, mistook what you were asking. Quote
Crusader Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 GMT = Ground Moving Target TF and GMT entries are in the dll but not in the game code = not supported = wont work = Quote
76.IAP-Blackbird Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 But it`s there so maye actice in future patches, and usable like the air 2 air mode in the radars, would be nice. Quote
Crusader Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 theres lots of stuff already "mentioned" in the dll's but not implemented in the games ... Quote
