.STR files editing

Hello everybody, I have a question for the modificacion/edition of .STR files:

 

When I extract de speech file from Speech.CAT, after editing de .STR file with de notepad, end saving. I create another Speech.CAT and replace the original, but nothing happens. The idea is to make the speech subtitles compatible with the callsigns of an specific air force.

 

Anybody knows how make it in the right way?
