hachiman Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Hi Mr Mudd Just want to ask what you settings you have your graphics at in Lomac? Your Gamespeed seems excellent so i am wondering if you have sacrified some eye candy for that and what Resolution you are running at? Thanx Quote
Guest MrMudd Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Honestly i can run a High resolution on medium settings with my PC. But when it comes time to record, i have to decrease to 800x600 and lower the detail, and knock off some eyecandy. to get a semi satisfactory results. This is the direct relationship with Fraps when i record the movies. It forces my cpu to do double duty. 3 gig of capture for 3 minutes of flying. Its pretty depressing what the videos look like. I dont really think they do justice to the game. the performance is so much better. Lomac has a really good foundation and I feel it is going to be our premier Combat sim if the developer continues to invest into its foundation. One story at a time. In my opinion they should spread out into other facets of the simulation experiance. Helos-VTOL, Armor, FPS, Naval Warfare. Make this a complete full simulation experiance. We all get burned out of a particular genre from time to time, but it would be nice in the course of the week to beable to interact with the same online friends, Day 1 fly an A10, Day 2 Fly a Combat helo, Day 3 Drive a Tank, Day 4 use a Sub for ASW etc etc etc. My specs are as follows: Xp Home Edition 2ghz AMD 1 gig DDR memory ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 Natural Point Track IR 1-2 Ch Products USB Fighterstick Ch Products USB Pro Throttle Ch Products USB Pro Pedals Quote
