Engine noise too loud

I've recently installed some add-on A/C's from C5's site & this one. The install went through fine, when I pick a jet to fly ex...F-4, A-7 or other high performance fighters (except for the F-15A/C/D/E). The noise from the engines (even at idle) is so loud I barely hear my wingman, the tower or Red Crown.

 

How can I fix this?, is there a different sound file I can use. I tried using one from a clean install of WOE and that didn't work.

You can use the sound recorder found in start/All programs/Accessories/Entertainment.

 

Click the file tab, then Open find the sounds folder in your game, then find the wav you want too change and play it.

 

Click on Effects and and you'll see Decrease Volume. 2-4 clicks on that and then save. Hey presto!

 

It's a bit laborious and you have to adjust every sound that you to change.
