"Flyable" dhimari and parani markings

I tried to make flyable dhimari and parani airplanes in SFG Oct 08. I extracted the nations.ini, and noticed there are no entries available for Dhimar and Paran, so I tried to make them myself. In the loadout screen, I can select dhimari and parani markings, but once I start the mission there are no roundels on the airplane (only squadron numbers).

I tried looking for user-made skins, but all of them use custom made decals.

Searching on the forum, I found this thread. I tried downloading the updated nations.ini, but when I start the mission I get danish markings when I select Dhimar, and lithuanian markings when I select Paran. I made sure I selected the right nation, but I kept getting danish and lithuanians roundels (yes, I extracted the decals included in the pack in the objects\aircraft folder).

Then I tried copying-and-pasting the Dhimar and Paran entries in my previous nations.ini, and the decals disappeared again.

 

I'm using SFG Oct 08 with only stock aircrafts.

the Dhimari and Paran roundels have to have the same number as the nations.ini entry!

I tried renaming the roundels' filename, but it didn't work. I had to create 50 "fake" nations in the nations.ini in order to give Dhimar and Paran the number 256 and 257 respectively.
