Help! The Game Keeps Locking Up!

I just installed LOMAC on my new computer that I bought specifically to play this game and the game keeps locking up whenever I go to the options screen. when it locks up, the sound repeats itself and the screen can't be clicked and the mouse cursor doesn't move. I rebooted and I flew the A10 in the Quick Start button and it flew awesome. But when I crashed, the game locked up just like it did when I went to the Options screen. I set it to 16 bit color, BTW.

 

P4 3.0G 800FSB, Asus P4S800 SIS 648FX mobo, 1G PC3200 DDRAM, SB Audigy, Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB

Are you running a firewall? If yes, turn it off, or at least let LOMAC have complete access.

No firewall. I just got the new computer out of the box, set it up (no new programs), calibrated a MS Sidewinder 3d joystick, and installed LOMAC. I don't even have it connected to the internet yet. I've been trying out what works and it seems all of the quick start buttons work and I can fly at least the F15 and the A10, but I can't shoot the gun or missiles. I have the master arm on and I can change the gun rate on the A10, but Ijust can't shoot anything. The graphics are unbelievably beautiful! The flight dynamics are excellent! I love this game! Now if I can strat blowing things up, LOL!
