Doghouse Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Hamachi seems to be the best way for most folks to connect. We are using hyperlobby as a means to meet up before starting a game either through hyperlobby or hamachi. A guy can host from hyperlobby, and if he has a hamachi server open, people can join from there as well. That seems to be the best option for the host. The Oct08 patch is not a good multiplay patch because of all the UFO's involved, and it's exceeding long load times. Most of us are using a stock 8.30.06 install for multiplay. Hopefully sometime in the future TK will address the MP issues but don't hold your breath. In the meantime we are having a blast playing what we already have that works. So, how do you set up a hamachi network with no password? I didn't know you could do that. Please tell me how. Quote
