ndicki Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Anybody tried? I attempted to add the New Guinea terrain, all duly cat filed using the new utility, but I got two "Desert"s in the menu, and both were the desert. No New Guinea. The inis all seemed the same, but I couldn't find the trick. Has anybody else had a go?
+pcpilot Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 (edited) Yup, added EAW, red range, range, and Korea. All work perfectly. All I did was transfer the terrains' directory into C:\Documents and Settings\Jeff\My Documents\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Terrains in my WinXP setup. Didnt fool around with using utilities. I first added a "Terrain" folder in C:\Documents and Settings\Jeff\My Documents\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2, then drop the terrains' directory in that. Didnt ad the desert cat or anything. ndicki Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 Ok, so I'm being too clever... Thanks, pcpilot, off to see!
ndicki Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 You know what? If you call the folder "terrain", as in SFG, it won't work, at least on mine. It needs to be "terrains". You tell me! But it does work - thanks again.
+pcpilot Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Whoops, your right, its Terrains. My bad. Glad your up and running. ;0)
