Hi all,

I was just wondering if it was possible to remove the co-pilot model from the internal pit view in the Vulcan so as to allow the open cockpit feature to show a different pilot model.

I have managed to get the position of the cockpit right and for my chosen co-pilot to show but the two different pilot models mesh with each other.

The only thing is that I think that co-pilot model is part of the Vulcan's pits lod. and there form may not be removable via ini. editing alone.

Any ideas for someone with no modelling skills?

Well, if he's a separate mesh, you need to find out what the mesh name is.

There is a way to remove parts of the cockpit. There's a thread around here, or it references a thread on the thirdwire site.

Assuming the pilot mesh is detached from any other part of the cockpit, it should be pretty easy.

Yes the co-pilot is part of the cockpit model. It can be Moved out of view.

Easy as 2pi/2.

Near full instructions with worked examples are here~> http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4410

Not quite full, since I never moved up to Patch 2008 with the "open cockpit" thing. But you will learn how to Move cockpit objects around or out of view. First 3 or 4 pages are some good learnin. The rest is fluff.

In the Cockpit folder, look at the OUT text file for CoPilotseat and underneath that is Body....that mesh should do it.
