How do I go to 2X or 4X warp ( to stop violent pitch)?

Recommended Posts

The developers said to try a 2x or 4x warp to stop the "violent pitch" issue coming out of warp ( using a Sopwith Camel ).

I have no idea how to set 2X or 4X warp.

One more question please---- is this site the "official OFF BH&H" one???

THANKS, CW3SF

Ctrl-Shift-E increases the speed, 2x for each press (so 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x...and if you can fly at 16x, then you da man!), and Ctrl-Shift-R reduces speed by the same proportions. I think this is left over from CFS3 (but never having flown CFS3, I can't be sure!).

Guy's check the violent pitch thread again, we may have solved the problem.

they certainly have....bless 'em. The "official" OFF site is here http://www.overflandersfields.com/info.htm but this is it's new forum home. 2X, etc. are not really "warps"....just speed up (time compression) options to get you there quicker without "warping". Warp seizes the plane and moves it to the next waypoint or the next enemy....time compression merely moves you along faster while remaining in control of the plane.........both are handy depending on your circumstance but........anything over 4X........make sure you're in auto-pilot or you're toast....at least I am....Cheers...GAW
