snakeman Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Hi quick question ! I have installed WOE onto my new pc and patched it so it is the same version as my old PC. I have copied across pilotlist.ini but it does not show up in the pilot screen. When you view it in notepad it shows all the pilots. Do I need to change a path somewhere to point to the new list ? thanks Quote
+331Killerbee Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Be sure to copy over the Pilot.PLT File too.... Quote
+331Killerbee Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 just tried that still nothing ! Then there's something really wrong. The .INI controls the Games Information Inputs....The .PLT File is the generated Saved Information for the Game Engine.....I wish I could help futher, But I've really got to see it......Sorry. Quote
+331Killerbee Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Hey Snakeman, Check this also.......In Your Install's Main Folder, in the Options.INI, See if these Entries match up with any of the Entries in the PilotData.ini. It'll look something like this at the top.... [Pilot] LastName=Pilot <<<<<< FirstName=Ace <<<<<< Callsign=Eagle <<<<<< Service=USAF <<<<<< See if that might do it. Other than that, I don't know....
