Setting up MultiPlayer

Hello,

 

I'm trying to set up multiplayer so I can hunt down and kill Aces more effectively ... I can't seem to find any hosted games plus even though I'm connected to the Internet OFF tells me that I'm not ...

 

Have been flying sims for years but I'm new to multiplayer so any help appreciated ... running V1.3 on a Triplehead and it looks great ... menu's are all fixed up ... well done Mark, Pol, Ted, Terry, Tom, James, Arto, Rob, Paul, and BRAVO Matt Milne (and Wolfgang) for the music ... excellent.

Hi Blue Max,

There are 2 ways: to host or to join a game hosted by other guys. You can wait for a hosted game to be announced in OFF subforum called Multiplayer, or host your own game and invite others through the same subforum.

I get the feeling you are using the "GAME LIST" window when you are looking for a mp game. Hosted game wont show up there. Like the previous post said, you have to watch the MP part of the forum, and look for a game going up.

If you want to set somthing up to eithere host or join, let me know, and ill try and eithe have a game up, or attempt to join yours.

 

FYI, most mp piolots are patched to 1.30 and have hard dm. pilots without the same dm as host will get a mismatch.

 

now,,,dont know if this is going to help you shoot down aces any more effectivly....

Thanks very much for the information ... I'll install the HCDM and then try and log on ... thanks for hosting a game to test sittingduck ...
