rayfer 0 Posted May 7, 2009 Ok...thanks for all the help so far. A couple of distance questions: (I can handle snickering if these are stupid questions!! ) I started using the Labels(ctrl+shft+L) and it helps immensely. Are the distance numbers to another plane in feet, meter, yards and are they a measure of a straight line from plane to plane. In other words, if a plane was 1000 feet directly below or above me would it measure as 0 or 1000? I've been flying the Fokker EIII....the altitude gauge....is "2" 200 or 2000 and is it feet, meters, yards? Will the answer, whatever it is, be the same for American, Brits and French as well? Olham 164 Posted May 7, 2009 The distance to another plane or object is a direct line - up or down or straight. The altimeter can be a German one, in meters, or English in feet. You open the altimeter, and then press "F5" again, to change "nationality". Congrats for your kill in an E III - not easy that!
