I can't get my X-45 profiles to work with FS2004. I've gotten the axis to work, but they're set by the game itself. When I click a button, though, nothing happens. How come Fs2004 won't allow my profiles to work?

I had the same trouble. I finally gave up trying to use the Saitek program that would let me use ALL the buttons on the X in FS2004, and just used the FS2004 controls setup in the game. I did setup my TrackIR centering (F12) in the Saitek program cause it was the only way I could get it to work in FS2004. Sounds confusing I know, and it is, but there was no way I could get the F12 button to work through the FS control settings program to where I could hit a button on my X45 and make it know it was the F12 button. What I ended up with is a FS2004 profile that has one purpose. To center the TrackIR.

Wow, I just got dizzy thinking about it.

It would be nice to use the Saitek program to create a profile that would allow the use of all the buttons on the X45 in FS2004, but I haven't found it yet, nor have I seen it online. I've seen some profiles, but they don't include anything that can't be done in the game itself ;)
