+X RAY Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 View File B-52 series pit placeholder This pit will be a placeholder til a good soul will make a proper Buff pit. Basically is the TK's A-6E pit and avionics placed inside the model via Lexx Luthor's stargetic pit mode. What you must do to see this feature is: Go into your Flight folder and in the FLIGHTENGINE.ini replace this entries: [NearSceneClip] FarClipDistance=250.0 NearClipDistance=0.2 Than check that any Buff have AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll And replace the cockpit and avionics.INI's in each folder. Add the proper pilot as you like. Than go to WEAPONDATA and copy: [WeaponDataXXXX] TypeName=B-52_LLLTV FullName=B-52_LLLTV camera ModelName= Mass=9.000000 Diameter=1.200000 Length=0.009000 SubsonicDragCoeff=0.120000 SupersonicDragCoeff=0.100000 AttachmentType=USAF SpecificStationCode=B-52_LLLTV NationName=USAF StartYear=1980 EndYear=2050 Availability=0 BaseQuantity=8 Exported=FALSE ExportStartYear=0 ExportEndYear=0 ExportAvailability=0 WeaponDataType=0 RailLaunched=FALSE Retarded=FALSE FinStabilized=TRUE SpinStabilized=FALSE EffectClassName= DragAreaMultiplier=1.000000 WarheadType=0 Explosives=0.000000 FusingDistance=0.000000 ClusterBomblets=0 ClusterDispersion=0.000000 GuidanceType=5 Accuracy=100 MaxTurnRate=0.000100 MaxLaunchG=0.000100 LockonChance=100 LaunchReliability=90 ArmingTime=4.000000 SeekerFOV=10.000000 SeekerGimbleLimit=30.000000 SeekerTrackRate=20.000000 SeekerRange=15000.000000 ReleaseAnimationID=-1 EODisplayFlags=131329 CEP=100.000000 [WeaponDataXXXX] TypeName=B-52_FLIR FullName=B-52_FLIR camera ModelName= Mass=9.000000 Diameter=1.200000 Length=0.009000 SubsonicDragCoeff=0.120000 SupersonicDragCoeff=0.100000 AttachmentType=USAF SpecificStationCode=B-52_FLIR NationName=USAF StartYear=1980 EndYear=2050 Availability=0 BaseQuantity=8 Exported=FALSE ExportStartYear=0 ExportEndYear=0 ExportAvailability=0 WeaponDataType=0 RailLaunched=FALSE Retarded=FALSE FinStabilized=TRUE SpinStabilized=FALSE EffectClassName= DragAreaMultiplier=1.000000 WarheadType=0 Explosives=0.000000 FusingDistance=0.000000 ClusterBomblets=0 ClusterDispersion=0.000000 GuidanceType=5 Accuracy=100 MaxTurnRate=0.000100 MaxLaunchG=0.000100 LockonChance=100 LaunchReliability=90 ArmingTime=4.000000 SeekerFOV=10.000000 SeekerGimbleLimit=30.000000 SeekerTrackRate=20.000000 SeekerRange=15000.000000 ReleaseAnimationID=-1 EODisplayFlags=257 CEP=100.000000 [WeaponDataXXXX] TypeName=REVOLVER FullName=B-52_REVOLVER ADAPTER ModelName=mer Mass=9.000000 Diameter=1.200000 Length=0.009000 SubsonicDragCoeff=0.120000 SupersonicDragCoeff=0.100000 AttachmentType=USAF SpecificStationCode= NationName=USAF StartYear=1980 EndYear=2050 Availability=0 BaseQuantity=8 Exported=FALSE ExportStartYear=0 ExportEndYear=0 ExportAvailability=0 WeaponDataType=0 RailLaunched=FALSE Retarded=FALSE FinStabilized=FALSE SpinStabilized=FALSE EffectClassName= DragAreaMultiplier=1.000000 WarheadType=0 Explosives=0.000000 FusingDistance=0.000000 ClusterBomblets=0 ClusterDispersion=0.000000 GuidanceType=0 Accuracy=100 MaxTurnRate=0.000100 MaxLaunchG=0.000100 LockonChance=100 LaunchReliability=90 ArmingTime=4.000000 SeekerFOV=10.000000 SeekerGimbleLimit=30.000000 SeekerTrackRate=20.000000 SeekerRange=15000.000000 ReleaseAnimationID=-1 EODisplayFlags=0 CEP=100.000000 This will add fake bombs to your model: FLIR and LLLTV are EOGB's using their guidance to simulate EVS vision REVOLVER is a fake MER used into bomb bay as SRAM mount. Remember that they are droppable like bombs,so take off select LLTV or FLIR depending of day and nightime flying missions,than select SRAM or your main weapon loadout,drop it and than heading back home switching back to your selected viewing system! If somebody fix it is always welcome or anyway this is the way to use it correctly! CREDITS: TK and TW team for the A-6E pit and INIs Lexx Luthor for the stargetic pit method Gbreuder help me finding the correct seat positioning Dave to let me be a part of the project. REMEMBER that is only a placeholder pit! just to let work on mine SRAM/Harpoons loadout that you find inside tha late G and H models inside the Megapack. Also a very special thanks to everyone involved in the project: Dave,Pappy,Dels,JSF Aggie,MJ,Spillone 104 Enjoy! X Submitter X RAY Submitted 05/26/2009 Category Jet Cockpits Quote
+X RAY Posted May 25, 2009 Author Posted May 25, 2009 Note as Dave says to me: back up your flight folder before changing near clipping parameters with Lexx method I don't have any problems with other planes, but maybe somebody could. So back it up! Quote
FastCargo Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Or, use the OpenCockpit parameter instead if you're patched to Oct 08 or later. FC Quote
+X RAY Posted May 26, 2009 Author Posted May 26, 2009 Yes! I'm using Lexx method in my Oct08 install and it works in the same way Quote
