Flyable F/a-18c

Hi,

 

I downloaded the patch and installed it last week. Today I was playing around with the mission editor on the Su-27 quickstart mission. I wanted to add a US fighter and when I added a new plane, scrolled down to the list, the F-18C was highlighted.

 

I created a new mission using the F-18C and scrolled down to 'player' in the skill menu and loaded the mission. It put me in the cockpit of a Su-27 but when i hit F2, i was in an F-18C. The control surfaces worked as well as the throttle, but when I try and take off and pull up it doesn't want to go. What's going on?

That is quite a discovery. Maybe they planned to eventually make it flyable all along and are saving that for an "update".
