Additional fuel tanks and weapons

Recommended Posts

Please let me know if somebody is working on fuel tanks for Mig's and Sukhoi? These from US planes are just to big.

Any chance of having air to ground on missiles (guided preferably)

and proper bombsights?

Explain what you mean by proper bombsites?

these arnt bomber aircraft(except maybe the beagle and b57)

most bombing here and during that day was "dumb drops" no guidance, not "pipper" no "bomb fall lines"

One of the easyest means is as the WW2 stuka did climb dive aim at the nose drop and pullout. turn take a look repeat as needed.

I would like to have realistic fuel tanks modeled for MiG's, like it is on other sims. I do not have 3DS, time and knowledge to create tanks and import them.

What I ment was the proper bombsight, like on MiG 19 and 21's, not to mention F-4E with several modes. I guess that A-4 had one as well. And even WW2 Stuka had painted lines for proper bombing alignement on the the cocpit side window.

Hope the patch will fix some of those small things...

Dive bombers used front sight!

There are of course also disadvantages. A vertical or near-vertical dive results in a rapid build-up of speed, and airbrakes are needed to reduce the terminal dive velocity of the aircraft to acceptable limits. At the end of the dive, after the release of bombs, a sharp pull-out is necessary to keep the aircraft in the air, and this puts considerable stress on the aircraft. These requirements usually meant that dive-bombers had to be heavy, robust aircraft, with an unimpressive performance in level flight. Dive bombing also required highly specialised, intensively trained crews. These pilots not only had the technical problems of judging the diving angle correctly -- the natural tendency is to overestimate it -- aiming their bombs correctly, dropping them and then pulling out at the correct time. They also had to resist the mental and physical stress of a fast dive and a sharp pull-out manoeuvre.tap.jpg

Do aggree about the fuel tanks for the migs

The key to dive bombing is alot of pratice stuka pilots had almost twice the training of regular pilots. I find it takes lest training to use lav rockets.

practicing on armed recon missions I can "nail" the truck convoy with 2-4 passes

But of course, dive bombers used front sight, side thing was only used to proper align the angle of dive.

Any idea how to get this extra tanks for MiG's?
