jomni Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 (edited) For planes with off-centered HUD like the bf109 and fw190, how can you hit your target when the crosshair is always outside the glass? BTW, did World War 2 planes have these reflective HUDs in the first place? Or are these game enhancements? The HUDs are quite helpful but I just can't cope when the plane has the HUD off-centered. JediMaster Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I forget which the command is, either Shift-F1 or Ctrl-F1 (as I have it mapped to my stick), but it will shift you in your seat and center the pipper in those planes. The actual cockpits had the sites off-center for improved visibility when NOT in combat. During the (relatively) brief times the pilot was in combat trying to shoot a plane down, he had to lean to the right slightly. Quote
