Abhi 3 Posted August 17, 2009 i made a model of almaz truck in 3ds max in two parts with the 1st depicting front and 2nd trailer.later when i joined them both get aligned in one direction.when i attached them ,when i used boolean the bmp material is missing in the game.sometimes the tires get detached.this is the problem i am facing in the game only when i render in max it looks perfectly normal. one time i was able to attach the parts together but i was unable to assign material to different objects because they behave as a single entitiy, when i fix one problem another occurs. can anybody help me please email your suggestions

FastCargo 412 Posted August 18, 2009 Reverse engineering of LOD files is frowned upon. FC
cia 0 Posted August 19, 2009 but there are some files which contain parts of original thirdwire .lod files
cia 0 Posted August 19, 2009 there are .lod file which are split into parts like .lod001,.lod002 etc why how its done there is some distance is also given in the ini whats the reason behind this i have also searched the knowledge base but there is nothing
FastCargo 412 Posted August 19, 2009 If there are files here that are using reverse engineered LODs from ThirdWire, please tell us so we can have those files removed. Multiple LODs are used to use less detailed LODs as the viewing distance increases to save processor cycles. FC
