Sorry for this off-topic, but there is an important anniversary announcement.

It's the 25th anniversary of Elite. Probably more known amongst my blighty mates but Elite was probably the first immersive game in the all story of computer gaming.

I remember playing that here across the pond. I used to hate that magnifying security thing. I remember I was more interested in the trading and commerce aspect but was always getting jumped by somebody.

I never played this game, but I had it for the C64. It was on a disk, and I remember the label... I was never into games like that. How was it?

It's on my top 3 best video games ever.

The game had two games inside one economic/trading and the other space simulation. We were at the very beginning of micro computers and what this two brilliant young students achieved at the time was simply amazing. The game was really addictive and has still a large fan base.

I hope to be commemorating OFF in 25 years as well.
