Duce Lewis 3 Posted October 6, 2009 After struggling with my MS Sidewinder Joystick, I've finally found a solution I have my JS set on a glass top end table next to my desk Sidewinder FFB is strong and it tended to slide around a bit Finally made a trip to our local hardware store looking for some rubber material Ended up in the Flooring Dept and found a soft spongy doormat It's about 1/2" in. thick and is quite soft and tacky I knew I was on the right track when I had trouble sliding it off the rack Placed it on the table then the JS ...presto instant suction cup I even tried to reposition the mat a little and it wouldn't budge, JS hasn't moved either So if you're having trouble with a slippery JS, the solution may be as close as your front door HTH,
Duce Lewis 3 Posted October 7, 2009 Yeah, I'd thought about using some sort of tape But the end table is glass inlayed on finished wood I may want to use it for it's intended purpose someday so I opted for the mat It's acually an indoor mat for in front of the stove or something Probably so spongy because it's anti-fatigue Whatever works!
