A-4k Released

A bit late with this, most people already know, but I'll only be answering questions here on my stuff from now on:

 

 

Here is the MDD A-4K Skyhawk, Project Kahu, the Royal New Zealand Air Force version of the

A-4F Skyhawk. The upgraded project Kahu features the APG-66 radar from the F-16, and has

both humped and non humped versions. The hump is generally removed from the single seater.

 

Due to the creative genius of Crab_02 and Column5, you can choose to have or not to have

the hump on your bird, just select the hump in station 1 in the loadout screen for the hump -

but remember, if you don't want to use the hump you must select empty for station 1 in the

loudout screen. Thanks to Crab_02 and Column5!

 

The radar files have been modified by me to include all modes available to the APG-66

modeled by SF. Thus AFAIK the Kahu is the only radar equipped Skyhawk variant available

for SF, and the only Skyhawk night operations capable. Thanks to Howling1 for tips on

modifying radar for SF.

 

Only one skin is included with the Kahu, as only one hump can be used at the moment for

each variant. The skin is the standard FS34098, I've also seen them in FS34079. Also, there

is an earlier camo pattern skin already done for the A-4K available at Check6. If you want

to use this skin for the A-4K mod you'll need to mod the appropriate files as it's

currently for the A4E.

 

I've also modified the A4 tanks for the A4K so that they will have the appropriate color

drop tank.

B) You can upload a small avatar onto the site, and for the SIG pic, go to your control panel and in signature just put in the url to the page you pic in on ie {IMG}httP://www.grampsflightsims.com/sigpic.jpg{/IMG} but use brackets not those things
