rwmarth 0 Posted October 28, 2009 After coming across a couple flights of the 1 1/2 Sopwith Strutters on an apparent bombing mission of our (German) airfields, I managed to down four of them. Now, what made this so simple was the fact that they don't do anything other than continue to fly straight. Since they were used as fighters in some roles, I would expect a bit more of evasive flying as opposed to this straight level tactic they used. Is this normal or correct behavior out of these planes, or is something amiss on my end? (Or perhaps I should just enjoy it while I can before the English fighters are more numerous later - currently I'm with Jasta 11 in February 1917.)
