Question on ini and cfg files

can someone tell me where the ini and cft files are that have to be changed when you add avionics, and aircraft etc. I am new to this but kinda bored with the same aircraft and avionics

welcome i see u are a new member with only 2 post to answer your question if u talking about cockpit for example

stock/changed tu22

AircraftFullName=Tu-22K

AircraftShortName=Tu-22K

AircraftDataFile=Tu-22K_data.ini

LoadoutFile=Tu-22K_loadout.ini

CockpitDataFile=su-15tm_cockpit.ini change here for what ever u wish

HangarScreen=Blinder_Hangar.bmp

LoadoutImage=tu22_loadout.bmp

LoadingScreen=Blinder.bmp

AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll change this to either 60,70,easy

AvionicsDataFilename=Tu-22K_avionics.ini change here for what ever u wish

 

what i mean for what ever u wish means that u have a new cockpit to change by and u know what to do if not try the knowledgebase and ask staff they are helpful .

I find this site to be extremely excellent. I appreciate all the help you have given me. I guess I have to download this cat extract file and cant do that until later because I downloaded a couple already and I am restricted. Could you give me the files and locations that I would need to have that would be flyable like an F-16

When i downloaded the cat extract and try to use it it tells me that there is an error calling external object. Can anyone help
