Hi guys,

i'm relatively new to this game and there's one problem:

When I fly a mission e.g. a BARCAP, it says in the briefing, that I should stay in the target area for a specific time, lets say 30 mins. Sometimes it happens, that i'm out of missiles after just 10 mins. Since it's useless to hang around defenseless, I usually return home early. Now the problem is, that I always get a "mission failed" in the debriefing, because of returning home to early.

Anyone knows a solution?

In the mission briefing portion of the flight, select one of the BARCAP waypoints and set the loiter time to 0 minutes. Then you can fly the BARCAP for as long as you wish and it will automatically be scored as a success.

You could, alternatively, ensure you "check out" with AWACS before you go offstation; however, I don't know if it will prevent the mission failure score. I've always used the 0minute trick.

Ive started avoiding BARCAP missions for that reason, but one way to save missile is to tell you wingmen to attack the targets. even though your out of ammo doesn't mean your flight is. you can also use the 20mm gun if needed, but i would stick to using your wing man's weapons first.
