Collection of Portuguese WWI Air Fight stickers

Recommended Posts

I've an old collection (1977) of Portuguese WWI Air Fight stickers (I don't know the correct name in English) called Cavaleiros do Céu (Knights of the Sky). If there is people interested I can scan all (144 ) them.

This one is number 28 - The Fokker Scourge

And yes, UK_Widowmaker, number 84 is entitled "The Powerful Snipe"

When I think of the money 'wasted' on Baseball Cards

As far as I know some are very valuable. Isn't it?

This sounds very interesting, but I wouldn't want to put you to the trouble unless you really wanted to do it. If you do scan them all, I recommend uploading them to the download area of this forum.

It was this collection and BBC Wings, both in 1977, that fomented my interest in WWI air war.

So I'm emotional attached to it. I was already thinking in scanning it to preserve. These cards or stickers, whatever, they are print in paper, and even being in a good condition we know it won't last forever. The best way to preserve it's to scan while it's possible. I'll do it in the near future and warn here.

Thanks for your interest. :good:
