Does it drive anyone else crazy when you're in the middle of a great dogfight and poof! you lose sight of the enemy and you're not even in the clouds? If you're even close to the clouds you lose the padlock. As long as I can see the enemy ,I should be able to stay locked on.

Does anyone know where to change these Padlock values? Flight folder? Or Environment Systems?

Yeah, good question...The loss of padlock with not a cloud in sight can be really annoying.

On a related note, the 'Padlock Nearest (Enemy) Target' button seems to be malfunctioning on my install. It padlocks enemy AND friendly aircraft. Anybody else get this?

I thought it was just me. But when I too select "Closest Enemy Target" It will select any aircraft thats closest. Enemy or friendly. And if I try to select "Next Visual Enemy Target", again it will go to the next closest aircraft. Friendly or enemy. I've done a new install of this sim a couple of times, and it happens every time when I get to the Nov'08 update I think. Very anoying proplem. Needs a fix for sure.

As far as the padlock, there are clouds nearby when I lose the padlock on an enemy. We (myself and the target) aren't neccessarily in the clouds when the padlock is lost. Just at cloud level or near the clouds. This is way too sensitive. It should be much harder to lose the padlock on an enemy. The enemy or myself should be IN the clouds and out of sight.
