These Camels were covered completely with PC10 paint and had white dumbells as a unit marking. I also painted on the roundels.

Great stuff as usual, Quack!

Just as a FYI, for those interested in historical accuracy. 45 Sqn used the same markings when based in France. So these skins can also be used on the western front up until 16th November 1917, which is when the squadron was withdrawn and moved to Italy. They came back to France in September '18.

I know you wanted something in a complete PC10 paint job Bucky. I already had these in the works.

Thanks for the thought, man.

Other units with (mainly) overall PC10 Camels were 3 Sqn, 28 Sqn, 70 Sqn, and 13 (Naval) Sqn.

Apart from the squadron marking, most of the above squadron's Camels looked almost identical to 45 Sqn...Let me know if/when you feel like doing a few more.

The No.45 Squadron skin of the CamelF1_130 (the one I used) is now in the download section. You could also add the skin to the CamelF1_150 for later service.

Cheers Quack...An excellent set.

Surprisingly, I think these are the first RFC skins ever made for the Camel. All the others are for Naval Squadrons.

Wow you're right. Didn't even think about that. Need to make some more I guessgrin.gif
