BUT to my memory my FE install does not have a burning sound; try deactivating that.

 

As Biggles might say to Algy "ignore the fire old boy, it's been there forever causing no problems"..

Thanks, gents! (Notice how I don't come here screaming and cursing that something doesn't work? I *know* it's user error!) I just grabbed Laton's effect so I'm off to check it out.

Did you get this effect to work in the end? I ask because I'm suffering similar frustration to that you were having a few months ago. If you did get it working, can you please tell me just what files you placed where?
