I need help. A messege keeps appearing that says - An I/O error was reported while trying to access an unamed file. Then some otherthing pops out saying something I don't remember, plz help, anyone. I just got this game.

Sounds like a disc authentication error.

 

Goto thirdwire.com, download the Oct 08 patch for Wings Over Vietnam, ( http://www.thirdwire.net/files/dl/WOV_Update_Oct2008b.exe ) run the patch, then try starting the game again. The patch will remove the CD-ROM checking requirement, as well as update your game.
