WW1 veteran died

Recommended Posts

In April this year died a veteran of WW1. His name was Arthur Halestrap. His age was 104 or 105.

Last year November 10 I met him under the Menengate in Ypres (Ieper in Belgium) by the remembrance there. I shaked his hand and thanked him for what he did more than 85 years ago. He was one of the last.

"Rest in Peace veteran of the Great War"

Now I am searching on internet, who is still living after all those years after the Great War.

And I tell you, it is difficult to find that.

Salute
