Thanks, Zol If you have updated your graphics card drivers lately, you'll need to go to Workshop, click on Graphics Config, and reset your graphics settings. Quote
zoltann Posted October 4, 2010 Author Posted October 4, 2010 Thanks BirdDogICT! Spot on, that was it... Flying again...if only the FF joystick had some default aerodynamical force instead of.... being a dead stick. No solution on that eh? Again thanks for your help, zoltann. zoltann Posted October 11, 2010 Author Posted October 11, 2010 quote name='uncleal' timestamp='1286221798' post='445968'] Definately . . In WORKSHOP there's a white rectangle that states ' configuration' or 'video Settings' clic on it . . .and give it time to work, it's all auto. When it's done it'll tell you Get used to this happening, anytime you replace a video card, update drivers, run system restore. It's even been known to happen sometimes when Auto Update runs PS . . in the FFB Department . . Make sure it's ticked in workshop, and everything Except the Sidewinder II, uses a 24V power Pack, which has been known to depart without warning. Sooo if it's checked in Workshop, and the Voltmeter says 24V at the power pack. . . the joystick is fried Well Uncleal, Have an FF Sidewinder2. All ticket as u said. Aerodynamical forces at stall and with flak and firing guns there, but not sensible when steep turning ect. I think it must be an restriction of the CFS3 engine... Cheers, Zol Quote
zoltann Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 Ok roger that uncleal, Indeed funny that M$ hardware and M$ software (CFS3) do not harmonise. All my other flightsims have no probs with FF, none of which is M$ (usual suspects: IL2, BoB2, Thirdwire range, ROF) No intention of moving on as OFF is a class of its own... Thanks, Zol. Quote
