I've used Windows Sound Recorder to mix the ground commander (tank guys) voices with weapons in the background. So now when the tank commander yells at you because he's taking heavy fire, you'll hear rifles, tank guns, etc in the background, noise that normaly be coming through the mic on his headset, I've posted a sample of what I mean, check it out.
